Provide the infrastructure to compare results from different coupled climate - carbon cycle AOGCMs in terms of their projections of future changes in marine productivity and shifts among basic types of marine ecosystems.
Current priorities:
data handling: improve the infrastructure and common protocols for data storage and data access to facilitate and automate analyses of multi-model simulation output (AutoMOD - automated output diagnostics facility)
data analysis: analyse marine productivity and carbon export fluxes from coupled simulations; focus on (i) comparison of present-day results to observation-based estimates and (ii) transient changes over this century
